Delta resident Benny Ibanez allegedly stabbed another man in an altercation on Monday.

"Sadly, communities don’t realize what they have until its gone," West Kelowna Warriors owner and president Kim Dobranski said, citing the loss of minor hockey in other B.C. communities.

Search and rescue volunteers spent Sunday searching the area around Burns Bog for Chui Ching Ho.

The operation included underage girls, and involved transporting victims between Metro Vancouver and Calgary, police said.

It's unclear if this was a dognapping or a Good Samaritan trying to rescue a lost dog.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt, blue jeans, flip flops and was carrying alcohol in a brown paper bag.

It happened after the guard confronted a man suspected of shoplifting.

Delta Police are warning the public of a high-risk offender now living in North Delta.

A North Delta home was raided last week after allegations were made that plastic surgery was being performed there without a license.

Human remains were found in North Delta Thursday morning, according to Delta Police.
