Spot fire in hills above Skaha Lake visible to residents

According to the BC Wildfire Service, the fire was spotted at around 10:30 a.m. Friday, and is located at Skaha Creek. Global News

Firefighters are working to douse a fire in the hills above Skaha Lake currently mapped at 1.13 hectares, up from 0.6 earlier in the day.

It’s deemed to be being held, which means it’s not likely to spread beyond its boundaries.

According to the BC Wildfire Service, the fire was spotted at around 10:30 a.m. Friday, and is located at Skaha Creek.
