Hold and secure at Toronto high school lifted, police say

The hold and secure at a Toronto high school has been lifted, police say.

In a tweet Friday, Toronto police said officers received a report that a threat had been made to Monarch Park Collegiate just before 1 p.m.

Officers said the school was placed in a hold and secure.

In an update just before 2:20 p.m., officers said the hold and secure was lifted.

“No reported injuries,” police wrote in a tweet.
