Three people have been taken to hospital following a collision in Toronto, officials say.
In a tweet, Toronto Fire said crews responded to reports of an accident in the area of Markham Road and Finch Avenue Tuesday evening.
The call came at 5:52 p.m., police told Global News. A total of three vehicles were involved in the collision.
Officials said police had closed the intersection while first responders completed their work.

Toronto paramedics told Global News they had transported two people to a local trauma centre. Both patients were female, with one in their 20s and another in their 30s.
York paramedics also took one person to hospital, Toronto police said.
