B.C. municipal election 2022: Highlands results

Voters in the District of Highlands have chosen their next local government in the 2022 B.C. municipal election.

Incumbent Kenneth Williams has been acclaimed as mayor, having faced no opposition.

Global News projects incumbent councillors Karel Roessingh, Gord Baird, Ann Baird, Leslie Anderson, Rose Stanton and Marcie Mclean have all been re-elected.

Highlands is found northwest of Victoria. More than a third of its land is protected by municipal, regional and provincial parks.
