An inmate who escaped from the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Facility in Dartmouth has been arrested one day after escaping.
Early Tuesday afternoon, Halifax Regional Police and the Department of Justice issued news releases about Ryan Taylor Wilband, 43.
Wilband had escaped the facility, located in the Burnside Industrial Park, at around 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
By 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, police updated the file to say Wilband had been found in Greenwood, N.S. and arrested by RCMP. Greenwood, which is in the Annapolis Valley, is about an hour and a half drive away.
