The short-lived strike was actually the third walkout from Associated Cab drivers since August, and was held in protest over the firing of two workers.

Rupinder Gill, the head of the Calgary Cab Drivers Society, says about 200 drivers with Associated Cab have decided to switch companies, and will now join Delta Cab.

He says it will take a while before they’re all switched over, but you can expect to see more Delta cabs on the streets by next week.
