Emergency crews were called to The Queensway and Windermere Avenue at around 9:53 p.m.

Paramedics said they transported a man in his 30s with life-threatening injuries to a trauma centre.

A short time later, police said the man died from his injuries.

On Saturday, police named the man as Jack Loor-Walters, a 25-year-old from the GTA.

Global News confirmed that the death is the second child murdered from the same family.

The victim’s brother was 15-year-old Tahj Loor-Walters who was shot in July, 2013. He died two weeks later and his murder remains unsolved.

Police also said that there was a passenger in the vehicle beside Loor-Walters. Officers said a 27-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
