Some residents of Metro Vancouver woke up to snow on Tuesday morning.
The snow mostly in the areas of Surrey, Langley, the Tri-Cities, New Westminster, Richmond, Delta and Burnaby.
Global BC meteorologist Kristi Gordon said the snow moved through the Tri-Cities in the early morning and then into the Surrey and White Rock area later in the morning.
Meanwhile, neighbouring communities had no snow at all, Gordon added.

However, the weather did cause some problems for motorists.
Cars spun out in Delta and Richmond and a few crashes were reported in Surrey.
TransLink said crews did have to switch out the articulated buses for 40-foot buses on Burnaby Mountain routes so snow socks could be used.
“Higher elevations in Coquitlam had some bus delays and reroutes earlier in the morning but that’s all back to normal now,” TransLink said in a statement.
“SkyTrain was fine all morning. We activated the snow plan last night, deicing spray for trolley wires, sanding and salting transit hubs and connecting with our municipal partners to help them understand which routes we need prioritized for plowing.”
TransLink added there are no impacts to service due to the snow Tuesday afternoon.
About 5,000 customers in Surrey were also without power Tuesday morning after a tree came down on wires.
The snow is not expected to be an issue for the afternoon commute.
