UPDATE: Shortly after 4:30 a.m. Oct. 19, Perth OPP reported that the missing girl had been located.
On Monday, Provincial Police in Perth County asked for the public’s help in locating an 11-year-old girl who went recently missing in the Shakespeare area.
OPP say the girl was last seen at a home near Shakespeare, in the Township of Perth East at around 11 p.m. on Friday night.
It is believed she went missing sometime overnight.

Her disappearance was reported at around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

At Around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, police announced that the girl had been found.
They are asking anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
