Global News projects Randall Garrison of the NDP has been re-elected in the riding of Esquimalt–Saanich–Sooke on B.C.’s Vancouver Island.
Garrison, who was first elected in 2011, had 42.9 per cent of the vote with nearly 90 per cent of polls reporting, ahead of Laura Anne Frost of the Conservatives and Liberal candidate Doug Kobayashi.
The riding is made up of the municipalities of Esquimalt, Metchosin, Sooke, Colwood, View Royal, and a portion of the District of Saanich.
