Global News is projecting Tim Louis has been re-elected as the Liberal MP for Kitchener Conestoga.

The riding was first formed in 2003 with Liberal Lynn Myers elected as the inaugural MP in 2004. Myers was narrowly defeated by Conservative Harold Albrecht in 2006.

The Liberal Party’s Tim Louis defeated Albrecht, who held the seat for 13 years, by just a few hundred votes in the 2019 election.
