Global News is projecting Liberal MP James Maloney has been re-elected for another term in the riding of Etobicoke-Lakeshore.
The riding of Etobicoke–Lakeshore is part of the City of Toronto and its rough boundaries are Etobicoke Creek to the west, Dundas Street, Bloor Street West and Kipling Avenue to the north, and the Humber River to the east.
Close to 38 per cent of this riding’s population consists of immigrants, with Poland, the Philippines and Ukraine being common countries of origin. Polish, Ukrainian and Spanish are some of most popular non-official mother tongues in the region..

Etobicoke–Lakeshore was held by former federal Liberal Party leader Michael Ignatieff from 2006 until he was unseated by Conservative Bernard Trottier in 2011.
James Maloney took back the seat for the Liberals in 2015 and was re-elected in 2019, with 51.9 per cent of the vote.
