Fatal two vehicle crash on College Drive

SASKATOON – A teenager is dead after a two vehicle crash on College Drive early Saturday morning.

Around 4:43 a.m., police were called to a collision at an intersection near the Circle Drive overpass and found a traffic light pole on top of one of the severely damaged vehicles.

A 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two male occupants of the second vehicle were taken by M.D. Ambulance to Royal University Hospital with undetermined injuries.

Motorists were asked to avoid the intersection while the collision reconstructionist team conducted an on scene investigation.

Traffic has returned to normal in the area.
