Man charged in fatal P.A. crash remains in custody

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A man charged after a fatal Prince Albert, Sask. crash will remain in custody until at least the end of the month.

Jeremiah Jobb, 21, was charged with impaired driving causing death after the two vehicle crash on July 14 that claimed two lives.

The driver, 21-year-old Taylor Litwin, was declared dead at the scene.

Her passenger, 17-year-old Brandy Lepine, died later at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

Lepine was pregnant at the time and gave birth before passing away.

Her baby remains in hospital.

Police say initial reports indicate excessive speed and alcohol were the major contributing factors in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.

Jobb will next appear in a Prince Albert courtroom on July 31 for a bail hearing.
