The search has ended for a 33-year-old Lethbridge man previously reported missing in B.C.
In an update Monday evening, Lethbridge police said the body of Lewis White had been located earlier in the day by RCMP in Creston.
White had last been seen July 23 and according to Facebook posts by his father, he was heading to Grand Forks, B.C., for a family funeral at the time of his disappearance.
His white Jeep was found in B.C. on the morning of July 26, but with no sign of him.

“A family member contacted the Creston RCMP to report that Mr. White’s vehicle was spotted alongside the highway — that’s Highway 95 — near the small community of Yahk in B.C.” Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey with B.C. RCMP said Monday.
“The vehicle was parked on the roadside.”
Lethbridge police received a missing person report prior to the discovery of the vehicle.
LPS said Monday evening that the case is not believed to be criminal in nature and the investigation has been turned over to the B.C. Coroner’s Office.
