Bomb scare prank leads to charges

REGINA – Regina police have charged 22 year-old Jonas Daniel Peter of Regina with Mischief under $5000 after a bomb threat was called in to Capital Ford on Tuesday.

When the police arrived they evacuated the area. After speaking to employees, police allege Peter is an acquaintance of one of the staff members and sent the bomb threat as a prank to interrupt business.

Peter made his first court appearance on Wednesday morning.
