Four arrested after Moncton jewelry heist

MONCTON, N.B. – RCMP in New Brunswick have arrested four young people after a break-in at a Moncton jewelry store late Sunday.

The Mounties say someone broke into Itacast Jewelry on Edinburgh Drive around 11 p.m. and made off with some jewelry.

A suspect vehicle was quickly intercepted and its four occupants were arrested.

The suspects, who range in age from 14 to 21 years old, appeared in court Monday.

Three of the four are from Campbellton while the fourth, a 14-year-old girl, is from Dalhousie.
