London police are looking into a shooting that investigators believe was not a random act.

It was just before 3 a.m. Saturday when police responded to a disturbance near Arbour Glen Crescent. A citizen nearby reported hearing gunshots, but no evidence of a shooting could be found at the time.

Later that day, police received information about shots fired near Bridle Path and Country Lane, an area just north of Kipps Lane.

Upon arrival, police found evidence of a firearm being discharged and of someone being injured.

Police believe those involved fled the scene in a vehicle prior to officers arriving.

In an update issued Sunday, police say they learned that six shots had been fired westward from a car that was near Bridle Path and Country Lane around the time officers responded to the initial disturbance on Arbour Glen Crescent.

Police added that no arrests have been made and a firearm has not been recovered.

Investigators believe the incident was not a random act and police are appealing to the public for information.
