Guelph Storm to host playoff Fan Fest ahead of Game 1 at Sleeman Centre

The Guelph Storm are hosting a playoff Fan Fest ahead of their opening quarterfinal game against the Kitchener Rangers on Friday night.

The family-friendly event is completely free and gets underway at the Sleeman Centre at 4 p.m.

It will include a kids area inside Old Quebec Street Shoppes, live entertainment, and samples from various food trucks.

Magic 106.1 will also be broadcasting live from the Sleeman Centre ahead of the game.

Puck drop between the Storm and the Rangers in Game 1 of their best-of-seven series is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Larry Mellott will have the call live on 1460 CJOY.

The two teams will return to the Sleeman Centre on Sunday at 2 p.m. for Game 2. Tickets are still on sale for both games and can be purchased on the team’s website.
