Surrey RCMP say a man who was shot on Sunday in a popular park has been arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Police were called to Hawthorne Park around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday to reports of a shooting and found the victim walking around with apparent gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital, treated and released on Sunday. That same day, police took him into custody in relation to outstanding warrants for his arrest, Surrey RCMP said.

Police said they believe the shooting took place in the park during an altercation between two groups. Investigators also believe the attack was targeted.

Surrey RCMP say they are looking for two suspects but have little in the way of a description. Both suspects are described as males who were wearing dark, hooded clothing.
