Police have made three arrests in the death of a 52-year-old Winnipeg man.

The victim, identified as Warren Stewart Nabess, was found at a Selkirk Avenue home Friday afternoon, suffering from blunt trauma injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he later died.

Police said further investigation revealed that people in the house were involved in the drug trade.

“This person attended the residence, and I don’t think it was a surprise that this house was involved in the drug trade,” said Cst. Jay Murray.

“For lack of a better term, it was a ‘crack shack’, and they were dealing crack.

“Regardless of the circumstances, no one should be a victim of a homicide.”
