Police in St. Albert are looking for two drivers after a man was run over twice while in a crosswalk at the end of February.
On Feb. 26 at around 11 p.m., a 52-year-old St. Albert man was crossing the street on Akins Drive when he fell in the street.
While he lay in the street not moving, a dark-coloured truck travelling north on Alpine Drive ran over the man and continued driving, RCMP said Monday. A short time later, a dark-coloured vehicle, possibly an SUV, also ran over the man and continued driving south, according to police.
The man who was run over is now recovering in hospital.
Police said it is possible the two drivers didn’t realized what they ran over, but officers still want to speak to the drivers.
