PICKERING, Ont. – Police east of Toronto have arrested a 19-year-old and described him as a second suspect in a homicide investigation.
Durham Regional Police say the teen faces a first-degree murder charge in the death of 24-year-old Nicholas Samaroo.
Samaroo’s body was discovered in a wooded area in late January by a woman walking her dogs.
Police arrested a 20-year-old man in the case earlier this week and indicated they were seeking another suspect.
With the arrest of the teen from Ajax, Ont., police say they do not anticipate laying any more charges.
