The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says the body of a Surrey, B.C., woman reported missing last month has been found, and her death is now being investigated as a homicide.
Rajwinder Bains, 38, was first reported missing by her family on Jan. 23. She was last seen leaving a TD Canada Trust bank branch in the 5600-block of 152 Street in Surrey, at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 7.

When she was first reported missing, Surrey RCMP said she may have been travelling with another woman to Alberta in a Honda Civic.
