Saint John man facing charges after allegedly driving vehicle into RBC storefront

A man is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving a vehicle through the front window of the RBC on Lansdowne Avenue in Saint John, N.B.

Saint John police say they were called just after 7 a.m. on Wednesday, and were able to locate the vehicle on Churchill Boulevard about 10 minutes later.

Two men were arrested, and the driver is facing charges of hit-and-run, refusal to submit to a breathalyzer test, assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest.

The other man was released with no charges pending.

Police say two people were in the bank at the time of the crash but suffered only minor injuries.
