Regina Pats end road trip with 5-2 loss to Edmonton Oil Kings
The Regina Pats finished off their four-game road trip with a 5-2 loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings in Western Hockey League (WHL) action Sunday night.
The Pats finished the road trip with a 1-3 record with their only win coming 2-1 in a shootout over the Lethbridge Hurricanes Tuesday night.

Forwards Austin Pratt and Logan Nijhoff scored the Pats’ goals. It was Pratt’s 20th goal of the season — Nijhoff netted his fifth.
Carter Souch, Scott Atkinson, David Kope, Andrew Fyten and Trey Fix-Wolansky scored for the Oil Kings.
Max Paddock stopped 40 of 44 shots in the Pats loss. Dylan Myskiw stopped 34 of 36 shots for the Oil Kings.

The Pats went 1 for 5 on the powerplay while the Oil Kings went 0 for 3 with the man advantage.
Up next for the Pats are, again, the Oil Kings Friday night, this time at home. Game time is 7 p.m.
