The Kitchener Rangers came out of a tight game in Sarnia with a 1-0 victory over the Sting.
Rangers forward Greg Meireles scored the winner on the power play in the second period. Riley Damiani and Rickard Hugg collected assists.

Luke Richardson was stellar in net for Kitchener, turning away all 23 shots he faced to record the victory.
The Rangers peppered Sting netminder Ethan Langevin with 29 shots but he was only beaten the one time.
FRIDAY: Hamilton Bulldogs 6, Kitchener Rangers 4
A comeback attempt by the Kitchener Rangers fell short against the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday.
Down 4-1 in the middle of the second period, the Rangers would score three straight goals to tie the game up but Kitchener appeared to run out of gas.
Jan Jenik would score for the Bulldogs at the 14:27 mark to put Hamilton in front for good.

Arthur Kaliyev would score on an empty net to seal the deal for Hamilton. It would be his third of the night. Matthew Strome and Logan Morrison also scored for the Bulldogs.
Meireles had a pair for Kitchener with Jonathan Yantsis and Hugg also finding the back of the net.
