A man was arrested after he was found asleep in a car at the drive-thru of a restaurant in Aurora, police say.
According to York Regional Police, on Sunday just before 5 p.m., a man was located asleep behind the wheel of a running car in a drive-thru of a restaurant located on Wellington Street East.
Officers say the vehicle was pulled up at the window.
Police say after knocking repeatedly on the window to wake the driver, officers smashed the passenger side window to gain access to the vehicle.
According to police, officers woke the driver who allegedly smelled of alcohol.
Police arrested the man and he was transported to the #1 District for a breath test which resulted in readings of more than four times the legal limit, police said.
