Bump on the road fixed

Traffic is flowing normally again on Highway 97 south near the Westside Road interchange in West Kelowna.

Motorists were forced to slow down after a large bulge appeared on the road.

The incident happened Friday when crews were pumping concrete through an underground pipe to fill in an old storm drain that runs under the highway.

Some of the concrete inadvertently went into an old manhole, forcing up the pavement.

Crews have since repaved the area.
