WINNIPEG – Colton Beck’s goal at 5:09 of the third period stood as the winner as the Iowa Wild held off the Manitoba Moose for a 3-2 victory in American Hockey League action Saturday.

Matt Read and Dmitry Sokolov also got on the board for the Wild (12-4-3).

Alexis D’Aoust and Seth Griffith replied for the Moose (9-9-1), the AHL affiliate for the Winnipeg Jets.

Kaapo Kahkonen made 34 saves for the victory and Eric Comrie stopped 25 shots in the loss.

The Wild were scoreless on their one power play, while the Moose couldn’t cash in on two chances with the man advantage.

With the win, the Wild split back-to-back games against Moose in Manitoba. They lost to the Moose 4-3 on Friday.
