Residents of Douro-Dummer continue to support their beloved mayor J. Murray Jones.
Jones has been acclaimed mayor for the third-straight term. Jones has served on Douro-Dummer council since he was first elected in 1997 as a councillor for Dummer Ward. He became reeve (mayor) in 2006 and has run uncontested in subsequent municipal elections in 2010 and 2014.

The Township
The small township in central Ontario borders the east side of Peterborough. It consists of rural communities including Douro, McCracken’s Landing, Warsaw, Young’s Point, Dummer, Donwood.
