Waterloo police identified the victim in a suspicious death investigation at a residence on Pearl Place in Kitchener as Yvonne Umutoniwasi.
Police announced no other new details in the case, other than the fact that further examination of the body was being conducted at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto.

A concerned neighbour asked police to check on Umutoniwasi at a home on Pearl Place at around 2:15 p.m. Sunday. Police entered the home to find her body inside.
Police warn to expect an increased police presence in the vicinity as the investigation continues.
