We are all aware of how the president of the United States conducts his daily business.
Most thought he would adapt or become more refined, more presidential, in the role over time. But clearly, that hasn’t happened.
Every day seems to be more of the same confusion and divisiveness from Trump.
The latest is his much-touted meeting with Russia’s Vladimir Putin.
Most allies were on pins and needles, wondering what would become of these isolated meetings, considering Trump appears to hold traditional enemies in higher regard than his democratic brothers and sisters in arms.
After these meetings, Trump again appears to believe Putin over his own intelligence agencies when it comes to Russian meddling in U.S. elections.
Here we are, the day after the big Trump-Putin summit, and is anything different?
In the end, Americans have to ask themselves: what is in this for them, for America? Does Russia have something that Americans want or need over their allies?
Why does the president of the United States promote more loyality to Russia than his own country or trading allies?
How does a cozier relationship with Putin, rather than Trump’s own allies, make America great again?
And if there is nothing in this for America, what is in it for Trump?
