Waterloo police say a man fled the scene after being involved in a collision during rush hour Tuesday in Kitchener which left three people injured.
Police say they were contacted about a collision which occurred on Fairway Road at around 6 p.m.

Police say a Kitchener man was driving south on Fairway Road when his car was struck by another vehicle that was making a left turn onto Thaler Avenue. The resulting collision spun the Kitchener man’s car, sending it into a concrete post.
The driver of the car making the turn fled the scene of the accident on foot.

Three people who were in the other car were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
