Canadian music mogul David Foster and actor-singer Katharine McPhee are now engaged.
McPhee’s rep confirmed the news to ET Canada, saying the couple, who are currently enjoying a vacation on the Italian island of Capri, will indeed be getting married.
The American Idol alum, 34, and Foster, 68, have been sharing stunning photos of their European getaway to their Instagram accounts, each crediting the other as the photographer.

Foster and McPhee have been dating since September 2017, spotted packing on the PDA in Paris last December.

They made their public debut on a “nice date night” at the Met Gala in New York City in May.
The songstress recently told LaPalme magazine that her “ideal situation” would be “to get married and have kids, it would be nice if that happens.”
This will not be the first marriage for either of them. It’s McPhee’s second trip down aisle, while it will be Foster’s fifth marriage.
Foster and Yolanda Hadid were officially divorced in October 2017.
