Man shot at Dartmouth shopping plaza suffers life-threatening injuries

Halifax Regional Police are on scene at a Dartmouth shopping plaza after a man was shot in the parking lot.

The shooting happened at 114 Woodlawn Rd. on Monday afternoon.

Police say that officers arrived on scene at 3:23 p.m., and found a 20-year-old man who had just been shot.

The man has since been transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

HRP have focused their investigation on a white vehicle in the parking lot of the plaza. There appeared to be a bullet hole in the side of the car.

Investigators remain on scene and are asking people to avoid the area.
