Engaged The Bachelor Winter Games couple Clare Crawley and Benoit Beausejour-Savard have split, it’s been confirmed.
The pair, who met on The Bachelor spinoff which aired in February, ended their four episodes apart, but then reconnected after the show. Despite being seen as one of the series’ biggest success stories, they have since taken to social media to share the sad news.
Crawley and Beausejour-Savard both took to their own Instagram accounts to post the same lengthy message, which told fans, “It’s with a heavy heart that we have mutually decided to end our relationship.”

The message also included, “We think the world of each other, and we were both hoping we could make this work.”
It continued: “I’m sorry that this may not be what you want to hear, but it’s our truth. Just know there are no negative feelings here, we are simply two people who believed in love, and were open enough to give it a chance.”

The pair’s engagement came as a surprise to fans, as Beausejour-Savard ended up leaving the show after Crawley insisted she didn’t feel the same way as him. She also said she wanted to get to know German contestant Christian Rauch better.
However, things changed when Beausejour-Savard sent her a text after the series was over. The French-Canadian star then ended up proposing on the reunion show The Bachelor Winter Games: World Tells All.
