Permanent height restrictions are in place at the location of a new interchange under construction in Saskatoon.
Crews began installing the 56 girders that will support the bridge deck at the College Drive/Highway 5 and McOrmond Drive interchange on March 26.
The permanent height restriction is 5.5 metres for both eastbound and westbound traffic.
Traffic in the area is still restricted for at least another two weeks.
Crews will then move to Highway 16 and Boychuk Drive to install the girders at the interchange currently under construction.
The College/McOrmond interchange is scheduled to be completed by October, with the Highway 16/Boychuk interchange expected to be ready by mid-2019.
