Hit-and-run crash in Burnaby leaves victim fighting for his life

Burnaby RCMP say officers have located a vehicle of interest in connection with a hit and run Sunday night.

A 68-year-old pedestrian remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the man was struck shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday, on Gilley Avenue near the intersection with Beresford Street.

The vehicle did not remain at the scene. Police said previously they believed the car to be red and would likely have front-end damage.
