Sentencing has been delayed for Raven Constant, who pleaded guilty killing to killing a man in Saskatoon after stabbing him 18 times on Jan. 1, 2013.
Constant pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Jonathan Moosewaypayo midway through his November 2017 trial.
He also pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault.

Lawyers said on Wednesday that sentencing couldn’t proceed as Constant was involved in a homicide at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre in October 2017.
Constant has been charged with aggravated assault, which is expected to be upgraded once a pathology report is complete and police determine new charges.
He is due back in court on May 11.
