Toronto police are investigating after a man was fatally assaulted in the city’s Wychwood Park neighbourhood.
The incident happened just before 12 a.m. on Monday near Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West.
Police said they located a male in life-threatening condition. He was transported to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
Toronto paramedics said the victim was in his 60s.

Authorities are looking for a male suspect, with a goatee, wearing a black jacket and a blue hooded top.
The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
