New Brunswick man charged after child pornography investigation

A New Brunswick man is facing four charges after a child pornography investigation by RCMP.

Christopher Mark Lewis, 47, of Canaan Forks, N.B., has been charged with possession of child pornography, making child pornography, breaching a probation order and breaching a prohibition order.

The Mounties began their investigation in September 2017. On Wednesday, they searched a home in Canaan Forks, N.B., about 40 kilometres west of Salisbury, N.B.

Lewis was arrested at the home and several electronic devices were seized.

The 47-year-old appeared in Saint John Provincial Court on Wednesday before he was remanded into custody pending a bail hearing at Saint John Provincial Court on Feb. 26, 2018 at 9:30 a.m.
