Police have arrested a wanted man from Dundas following a carjacking in Burlington.
Halton Regional Police launched an investigation after a hit and run collision at King Road and Plains Road on January 18.
Police say the man driving one of the vehicles ran to a nearby gas station and stole an Acura sedan from an elderly woman who was pumping gas.

Officers pursued the vehicle but it crashed into a police cruiser and the suspect got away.

Halton Police say Terry Lurch Strome, 41, of Dundas was arrested in York Region.
He has been charged with multiple offences, including robbery, dangerous driving, flight from police, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
The stolen dark grey 2005 Acura ATL 4-door sedan was also recovered by police.
