An Edmonton man has been killed in a two-vehicle crash in western Saskatchewan.
The crash happened Monday evening on Highway 16 west of Lashburn between a car and a gravel truck that were both travelling westbound.
Maidstone RCMP said the driver of the car, a 30-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the gravel truck was treated at the scene by paramedics.
A section of the highway was closed for several hours. It has since re-opened to traffic.
The cause of the fatal collision remains under investigation by Maidstone RCMP, who are being assisted by the coroner’s office and a traffic reconstructionist.
Lashburn is approximately 240 kilometres northwest of Saskatoon.
