A 39-year-old woman is dead after a two-vehicle collision east of Edmonton Monday morning.
At around 9:35 a.m., police were called to the crash in the area of Highway 216 and Highway 14. Police said the collision happened on the southbound ramp leading from Highway 216 to Highway 14.

A commercial delivery truck was driving on the exit ramp towards Highway 14 east when it hit the back end of a gravel truck that was parked on the northeast side of the road, RCMP said in a media release Monday afternoon.
The driver of the gravel truck was outside the vehicle at the time and was not injured.
The woman driving the delivery truck was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name is not being released.
RCMP said the ramp would be closed until late Monday afternoon.
