Officers from two Saskatchewan RCMP detachments are searching for a man believed to be armed with a gun.
Battlefords RCMP shared information at around 2:30 a.m. CT on Tuesday that a stolen F-150 truck was travelling on Highway 16 towards the Maidstone RCMP detachment area.

The truck had been reported stolen from the Humboldt area on Oct. 27. Police said a shotgun was reported to be inside the vehicle when it was stolen.
Maidstone RCMP located the vehicle and stopped it using a spike belt at Highway 16 and Highway 21.
The area was contained and a woman from the Battlefords was arrested without incident. No charges have been laid at this time.
Police said a man fled the scene and remains at large. No suspect description is available.

RCMP had believed he stolen a white Chevrolet Silverado from Maidstone at around 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The truck was found this morning on the outskirts of North Battleford.
The firearm has not been recovered.
Maidstone RCMP and Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate.
