Three people are facing charges after police say they seized drugs, ammunition and cash during a traffic stop and subsequent search warrant at a home in St. Thomas.

St. Thomas police say they pulled over a vehicle around 8 a.m. Saturday for Highway Traffic Act violations. The male driver was taken into custody by police, and a quantity of suspected crystal methamphetamine was located during a search of the driver, police said.

Police added that a search of the vehicle turned up more crystal meth, as well as a quantity of ammunition, other unspecified weapons and an empty gun holster. A male passenger in the vehicle was found to have a large quantity of Canadian currency, police said.

Police say a search warrant conducted later at a home in St. Thomas saw the seizure of what police have only described as a “large quantity of unknown white substance,” along with various pills, and a small quantity of crystal methamphetamine and marijuana. Two replica firearms were also seized, police said.
