Hamilton police are hoping the public can help identify a suspect following a theft at a local arena.
Police allege a man walked into a change room at the arena in Lower Stoney Creek on Aug. 1 and stole a large quantity of American currency from a wallet.

Investigators are not revealing which arena the alleged incident occurred.
The suspect then left minutes later in a red Ford Escape.
Police have released a surveillance camera image of the suspect and vehicle in the hopes the public will recognize the alleged offender.
Police are also reminding people to lock up any valuables when using public facilities.
