More crews are on the way to the Elephant Hill wildfire as it jumped containment lines and is once again threatening communities.
Helicopters and water bombers battled the fire all day Thursday and overnight. They will be joined by an additional 20 crews Friday with the main goal of protecting structures.
Crews are working 24 hours on this fire.

Heavy winds kicked up the fire this week where it jumped over lines and now burns east towards Sheridan Lake.
The northern flank is the most immediate concern for crews as it edges closer to homes. Two hundred firefighters are working on this northern edge alone.
The Elephant Hill wildfire is an estimated 181,273 hectares in size and only 50 per cent contained at this time.
On Thursday more evacuation orders and alerts were issued, mainly along the Highway 24 corridor.
The order is for communities south of Highway 24, which includes Green Lake and the western side of Sheridan Lake.
Evacuees are being told to take Highway 24 to 100 Mile House.
Meanwhile, a growing fire south of Canim Lake forced an overnight tactical evacuation for the Canim Lake South area. Residents in the area told Global News search and rescue members were going door-to-door to inform residents they had to leave.
